The team hosted the out of state Yuma, Colorado team last Thursday. It would be a disappointing outcome but many lessons were learned and the team will practice and improve on them. It was a great start for the team who’s roster is almost full. Coach Ashley Rousseau had this to say, “We almost have our entire roster of 55 (52 runners) competing this week–we still are nursing injuries, have had some sickness come through the team (I think the hot hot days aren’t helping), and had some families travel as well–so only 44 raced today—only 44?!?!?! Scoring was not important as learning how to deal with the play and the players against you. In a quick interview with Stu Lerwick who wears #12 and plays quarterback...

Eighteen teams competed in a double elimination bracket. Some of the teams had never played in a tournament before but were having fun. The competitors were challenging each other. Our locals had a tough time for the night. DC Carthcart was on bareback. His horse came out great for him to mark it. But the horse knows how to twist to the side sending him to the ground. Lacey Holeman was in the breakaway. The calf ran through her loop before she could get it around the neck. Colby...
