The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets headed west to compete in the Burns Winter Classic last weekend. On Friday, the posted victories over Cheyenne Central (38-28)and Moorcroft (45-20). On Saturday, they fell to Shoshoni 26-39.
“Overall, 4-2 is a great start,” Lady Hornets head coach Lindsey Forbes said of the season so far. “The girls are working hard and we will continue to improve.”
“Against Central we got a great start,” Forbes said. “I think we handled their pressure pretty well and did some good things.”
