It was a tough weekend for the Burns Broncs. On Friday on the road, Burns suffered a 47-36 defeat at the hands of Glenrock. At home on Saturday, the Broncs recorded another loss, that one to Lusk by a score of 58-49.
“On Friday night, we dug ourselves way too big of a hole to climb out of,” said coach Sean Patterson. “We were proud of the way the kids battled back and kept fighting. They showed a lot of heart!”
Travis Romsa was a key part of the fight, recording a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Ryder Bishop also excelled in grabbing boards, taking away 10.
