Let me tell you a story about a man who knew how to fight. Hinmatóowyalahtq, popularly known as Chief Joseph was the leader of the Wallamwatkain tribe in northeast Oregon late in the 1870’s, during the most tumultuous period in the Native Americans contemporary history. They were being forcibly removed from their land and put on significantly reduced reservations in Idaho.
