At their monthly meeting Thursday evening, the Albin Town Council listened to Shawnae Branigan, Albin Community Center board president, read a letter from the board asking the council to dissolve the board.
“The board feels the community involvement will be greatly increased and we believe a board is no longer necessary,” Branigan said. “The board is a middle man between the town and the director, which restricts the director.”
