Broncs morph into singing pirates and entertained sold out audience

The energic nervous hum from the music room at Burns high almost sounded like music Friday evening. And so it should. With the cast and crew of Pirates of Penzance dressing, curling, and coloring their faces to resemble pirates, maidens, police and a general, the sounds could pass for a rendition of “Oh, happy day, with joyous glee.”

In between the prep work, the cast snacked on doughnuts. One of the maidens called them “self-esteem boosters.” The little glazed circles gave a boost to the cast as they prepared for their second sold out performance.
