Asay selected for Girls State

Austin Asay has been selected by the American Legion Auxiliary William Horne Unit No. 64 to be their delegate to the annual Girls State program. Delegates are chosen for their interest in government, character, scholarship, cooperativeness and community service. The weeklong session will be held June 8 through 15 at the Powell Northwest College Campus. Girls Sate educates high school juniors in aspects of government concerning the executive, legislature and judicial branches.
