Ninety points were earned by the Burns Broncs Thursday to land them in a solid second place in a field of 12 teams at the Tri State Invite in Chappell, Neb. Top place finisher Paxton had 143 points and third-place Bridgeport 78. The Broncs score was added to that of their female counterparts to give Burns first place in the combined team scores with 200.50 points in a field of 13.
“The Burns boys ran well in Chappell,” said coach Cole Manlove. “The weather was beautiful and the athletes really responded by getting a few personal records.”
