Happy Independence Day!

The Sisters Grimm is holding a 2nd anniversary party on the 4th of July — everyone is invited to join us for refreshments, book giveaways, and 50 percent off most books (everything except the new or rare ones).

The Bushnell Lions Club meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, in the community center.

The village board also meets at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.

We are trying something different for Bushnell Day (Saturday, Aug. 17) this year — vendors do not need to sign up in advance or pay a fee to have a booth. Spaces will only be available in the park, not the community...
