From the look around the 91,000 plus football fans at Memorial Stadium, only a thousand or so boasted the Brown and Gold for the Cowboys. Wyoming came into the game a heavy underdog against the No. 18 Huskers, but showed up to be Cowboy tough and “Never Quit.” After scoring first, the Cowboy’s defense began taking dominant steps to slow down Nebraska’s offense. But when the Huskers scored, and a few calls were questionable, even by the fans in red, Wyoming was undaunted.
