Pawnee’s Luke Duggan makes a run around the end in an effort to hit pay dirt during Friday’s game againt Fleming. Duggan had 12 carries for 72 yards against the Wildcats.
On a night cooler than has been the norm, the Pawnee Coyotes were able to keep a steady pace against two-time state champion Fleming. The Wildcats came into the game wanting to remind the Coyotes of their place in the district. But Pawnee didn’t go quietly into the night, and put up a respectable 25 points before the half.
