On a night cooler than has been the norm, the Pawnee Coyotes were able to keep a steady pace against two-time state champion Fleming. The Wildcats came into the game wanting to remind the Coyotes of their place in the district. But Pawnee didn’t go quietly into the night, and put up a respectable 25 points before the half.
