Lady Hornets lose tough match to Lusk

Saturday was a tough day for the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets. Missing two starters, the team faced off with the Lusk Lady Tigers at Lusk. Though they came home with a loss, the Lady Hornets hung in and played progressively improved volleyball.

“It took us the first two games to get going but the girls came back and played tough with their backs against the wall,” said Pine Bluffs coach Christina Nusbaum. “Although we gained a player that was injured during summer volleyball tonight, we were without two starters. It took a little time for us to gel and play together.”
