Amidst 200 people in a standing-room-only Burns elementary library, sits a father and a young son reading a book. They were doing what Cassidy Cooper would do any time she had the chance. Read and spend time with her family. And doing it, appropriately enough, at the dedication of Cassie’s Corner Thursday evening.
Cassie’s mother and father, Chris and Cori Cooper were asked soon after the tragic accident that ended the life of their lifelong reader, what they would like to do with the memorial money to honor Cassie.
“I knew as soon as they asked we would do something with books,” Chris smiles...
