CHEYENNE CHAMBER SINGERS PRESENT A CHEYENNE CHAMBER SINGER'S CHRISTMAS
Under the direction of Sean Ambrose, the Cheyenne Chamber Singers will present a choral concert, A Cheyenne Chamber Singers' Christmas, in Pine Bluffs, Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 7:30 pm, at the Historic Pine Bluffs High School.
In this celebration of Advent and Christmas, sacred and secular music of the season will be performed.
Featuring harp accompaniment by Tonya Jilling, the singers travel through the most familiar Christmas carols with a modern-day twist in the Anniversary Carols arranged by Jackson Berkey, well-known for his work with the Mannheim Steamrollers.
From the 1940s, Fred Waring's arrangement of 'Twas the night before Christmas and a sparkling version of The Twelve Days of Christmas arranged by Mack Wilberg add to the familiar and joyful holiday sounds.

About the Cheyenne Chamber Singers
The Cheyenne Chamber Singers (CCS), now celebrating its twenty-third season was founded in 1991 by Dr. Jane Iverson. It is an auditioned group of thirty-eight professional singers and gifted amateurs with a part-time staff. CCS often collaborates with other groups and is a frequent guest artist in Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra concerts with whom they have performed such works as Handel's Messiah, the Debussy Nocturnes, Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music and Fantasia on Christmas Carols, portions of the Bach Christmas Oratorio, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and the Mozart, Verdi and Brahms Requiems.
