Student of the Week: Alison Mickelson

Directing a play, at any age can be a challenge. However, Alison Mickelson, a sixth grader at Pine Bluffs Elementary School, handled the task of directing the Christmas play with patience and a smile.

"The auditions took about 30 minutes and we had someone for each part," Alison said.

Alison wanted to direct the play and Mrs. Duffy told her to write a letter explaining what she wanted to do.

"I got really busy and didn't get time to write the letter," Alison said. "But Mrs. Duffy still let me do it and it went well."
