Hornets respond to loss

Traveling 15 miles for most Wyomingites doesn't require preparation and training. The Pine Bluffs Hornets, coming off a strong game against the No. 1 team in their conference, put a lot of effort into their trip up the interstate to face a conference and neighborhood rival.

"I thought the game came down to us not making shots," Coach William Gray said. "Coach Patterson had a good game plan, and his kids played well."

Pine Bluffs stayed with the Broncs until late in the third quarter when Burns slowly began pulling away. Burns defeated Pine Bluffs 52-37.
