Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908
Coming in to the last few weeks of the season, coaches like to see congruency, teamwork, and efforts of improvement increasing. That is just what Coach Lindsey Forbes is getting from the Lady Hornets.
"We still have a lot of work to do defensively, but offense is really coming on strong," Forbes said. "Sam Hanson had a big weekend defensively and we hope to build around that."
Potter Dix was an easy win for Pine Bluffs, 41-30, with all but one varsity member scoring.
Saturday, the team traveled to Lusk for a tight contest. Pine Bluffs scored more than Lusk winning 43-46. Again, a strong offensive show with most of the team contributing points. Defense was held strong by Hanson and Jadyn Golding.
Up next, the Lady Hornets focus on their last two home games before they host regionals in Cheyenne. Southeast brings their tough team to town Friday night, and Burns comes to town for the Senior game.
