Death Notice: Betty Jean Barkell

Betty Jean Barkell, 90, died March 9, 2014 in Cheyenne. She was born to Gottlieb Frank and Carrie (Vogt) Frank on Jan. 5, 1924 in Weld County. She spent most of her life in Pine Bluffs before moving to Cheyenne six years ago. She was active at the Assembly of God Church and worked at the senior center for 12 years.

Memorial services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
