State Engineer's Office extends temporary order for well spacing in Laramie County

The Wyoming State Engineer's Office will hold a public meeting 9 a.m. April 10 , at the Wyoming Department of Transportation Auditorium to determine whether groundwater in the Laramie County Control Area is adequate for the needs of all appropriators.

The Public meeting comes after State Engineer Patrick T. Tyrrell issued a Temporary Order Adopting Well Spacing Requirements within the Laramie County Control Area on April 11, 2012 in response to mounting concerns over increasing development and use of groundwater resources in southeast Wyoming.
