Eileen W. Poelma

Eileen W. Poelma, 93, of Carpenter, passed away on May 1, 2014 at her daughter's home in Alamogordo, N.M.

Eileen was born on Oct. 10, 1920 in Albin to Martin and Effie Ruth. She married James Poelma on Sept. 10, 1941 in Pine Bluffs. They were married for 64 years.

Eileen was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church and served in the Altar and Rosary Society in Carpenter for many years, spending her time in service to others. She was also a Eucharistic Minister, taking the Eucharist to shut-ins in the Grover-Hereford area.
