The budget for the 2014/15 fiscal year has been drafted and the first reading has been completed.
The town council competed its first reading during their workshop on Monday, May 19. The second reading will be held before the town meeting on Monday, June 2. The third and final reading will be on June 16, before the town meeting. These workshops are open to the public.
According to the town treasurer, Caryn Miller, the first meeting went fine. The general fund revenues were estimated at $2,262,925. This money will be split up in 13 ways. 25 percent will go towards salaries which will be $564,06...
