Residents in Carpenter had a front row view of the storm Sunday afternoon. When a tornado touched down east of the town.
According to Gerald Claycomb, lead forecaster for the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, funnel clouds were reported and a tornado touched down east of Carpenter. Claycomb said one house was touched by the tornado and another house was damaged. A few buildings had minor roof damage and at least two trees were partially uprooted.
