Politics and pie

Wyoming republican candidates for every office from U.S. Senator to Laramie County commissioner visited Pine Bluffs Sunday evening to deliver a brief speech describing their platform. They stayed for the pie.

Candidates at the federal and state level had three minutes each to deliver a speech, while candidates at the county level had two minutes. After, all candidates had an opportunity to meet the candidates over a slice of homemade pie. The event gave residents a chance to meet candidates before the primary election on Aug. 19.
