Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908
The 86th Albin Day celebration is fast approaching with events scheduled all day July 12. Chairman of the Albin Day committee Jillian McLaughlin said there are some new surprises in store this year. In addition to parades and races, Albin Day will include the grand opening of the museum. McLaughlin said the museum is moving to a new location. Also, for the night show scheduled at 7:30 p.m., Miss America of 2011 Teresa Scanlan will be the special guest. A live auction will also be held during the night show with proceeds benefiting the Albin Community Care Fund. Prizes will also be drawn at the night show.
You can register for prizes at the night show during morning events at Albin Day. There will also be a raffle, $1 per ticket. For more information about parades or Albin Day in general, call McLaughlin, 307-214-9827. For information about the arts and craft show, call 307-246-3427.
