The Albin Museum is a treasure chest that holds Albin’s history. The building itself is a piece of local history.
Tenetta Anderson, of Albin, said the museum’s building was the original Boy Scout house for Troop 110. Anderson said it was built by local men who went into the mountains and chopped down the logs. The building originally belonged to the Boy Scouts of America, but Albin hadn’t had a scout troop since the late 60s, Anderson said.
The town took over the building from the Boy Scouts in 1976, on the condition...
