Despite the short crop the county fair at Burns was a success. The garden and field display was surprisingly good and proves beyond question that this section is destined to be an agricultural country.
The stock exhibit of hogs, cattle and horses, though not large, was good and convinces one that people are paying more attention to the raising and grading up of stock each year. This is a very essential feature in an agricultural section.
