At approximately 5:45 a.m. Monday morning, the Bushnell Volunteer Fire Department received a call about a home on fire, located 12 miles south and two mikes west of the village.
Fire Chief Dave Miller stated he was in contact with the occupants of the home, who reported the fire, at 5:50 a.m. His department arrived at the scene with a tanker/pumper and two tanker trucks, and two grass rigs transporting some of the members of the fire department who arrived on the scene. A total of 11 members of the BVFD helped put out the fire.
When the BVFD arrived they were followed shortly by Laramie County...
