Burns, Pine Bluffs compete in Best in the West meet

The Burns Broncs and Pine Bluffs Hornets traveled to Scottsbluff last week to take part in the Best in the West meet at Scottsbluff High School. Twenty-four women's teams, and 23 men's teams showed up to find out who the best athletes were that day.

The Burns women ranked seventh overall as a team, while Pine Bluffs came in 13th. On the men's side, the Broncs and Hornets tied for 11th place.

For the Burn's men Rowan Fichtner placed second in the Pole Vault with a height of 12-feet, four-inches, and third in the 800m with a preliminary run of 2:02.89.
