Hunters who missed the application periods to get into the drawings for elk, deer and antelope licenses still have an opportunity to hunt this fall by picking up licenses that were undersubscribed in the initial drawings.
Leftover full-price licenses will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Following the June drawing there are 1,818 elk, 1,178 deer and 4,420 antelope licenses remaining. Leftover reduced price licenses will be sold beginning July 15, and include 10,220 cow/calf elk licenses, 4,876 doe/fawn deer licenses, and 5,063 licenses for doe/fawn antelope.
