LCSD1 delivers backpacks for LCDS2

Sharon Fain, left, with her daughter Grace, helped to deliver 100 backpacks full of school supplies for both elementary and high school students Tuesday afternoon. Grace, below, helped new Laramie County School District Superintendent Jon Abrahms stack the backpacks inside a storeroom at the district office. The backpacks were assembled through a joint effort of Laramie County School District 1, Needs, Inc. and Cheyenne Light. They will be distributed to teachers from LCSD2 schools, before the school year starts, and given to students in need. This is the second year LCSD1 has provided backpacks for LCSD2 students.
