Robert M. Richmond, 71, passed away at his home in Pine Bluffs on August 30, 2015.
He was born in Cheyenne on July 30, 1944 to Merle and Edna Richmond. Raised in Pine Bluffs, he began working for LuVerne Gade in 1966 at the Frontier Truck Stop, and continued working there throughout its many name changes and ownerships, the last being the Sinclair Truck Stop.
He married Barbara McCarver on Sept. 22, 1969, moving to Loveland, Co., in 1971. He returned to Pine Bluffs in 1980, and resumed working at the Husky.
He is survived by his former spouse, Barbara Dippel (nee' McCarver); sons, James Richmond of Pine Bluffs, and Robert Richmond of Pensacola, Fl.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m., in the Pine Bluffs Cemetery.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
