Gladys J. Ogle

Gladys J. Ogle, age 80 of Sidney, Ne., passed away at Sidney Regional Medical Center Extended Care, Thursday afternoon, Oct. 1, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Gary Ogle officiating.

Inurnment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family for later designation.

Gehrig- Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC was in charge of Gladys' care and funeral arrangements.

Gladys June Ogle was born June 19, 1935, in Grover, Co., to William Frederick and Caroline Louise (Hartmann) Hermann.

Gladys grew up on a farm near Carpenter. She was united in marriage to William H. Ogle in Pine Bluffs, on Oct. 4, 1958. They lived on the family farm near Burns until they moved to Sidney in 1965 to raise their family.

Gladys enjoyed family times at Lake McConaughy, she was also an avid bowler back in her younger years, as well as being a homemaker. Gladys really enjoyed the personal relationships as she waitressed in the local cafes, Hogelands, the Chateau, and the Country Kettle.

Gladys is survived by two sons, Donald Ogle of Sidney and Robert (Connie) Ogle of Sterling, Co .; one daughter, Jean Ogle of Scottsbluff; one sister, Carrie Lou of Lubbock, Texas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 2004; two sisters; and eight brothers.
