Pine Bluffs Lady Hornet, senior Azhane Bufford, jumps high and reaches long to send the ball back over the net to the Lady Broncs last week, while her teammate, Melissa Fornstrom is prepared to lend a helping hand. The Lady Hornets won in sets of 26-24, 25-15, 18-25, and 25-20.
On October 16, the Lady Hornets volleyball team traveled to Burns to take on the Lady Broncs and come home with a 3-1 win (26-24, 25-15, 18-25, 25-20).
"It was as very defensive match with several long volleys," said Coach Chris Nusbaum. "It took four sets to determine the winner, but eventually we came out on top."
