The Cheyenne – High Plains Audubon Society is sponsoring a Science Café Nov. 17, with two short lectures dealing with how birds think.
The presentations will be begin at 7 p.m. in the Willow Room of the Laramie County Library, 2200 Pioneer Ave.
Organized by the University of Wyoming’s Biodiversity Institute, the presentations will feature Karagh Murphy, “Bird brains learn from experience,” and Jonathan Prather, “How do birds make good decisions?”
Prather is a researcher in the Department of Zoology and Physiology, and is the recipient of a National Science Foundation Early Faculty Career Award...
