Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908
Due to the winter storm that is impacting Pine Bluffs, Kimball and much of the southeastern Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle area, there have been some closures and cancellations.
The Kimball schools were closed today, and any meetings or after school activities have been cancelled in Kimball, and in Laramie County School Districts 1 and 2.
The Kimball town offices, and the county courthouse closed early.
In Cheyenne, Laramie County Community College has cancelled all classes scheduled for tonight, as well as meetings and extracurricular activities.
There are numerous closures from Cheyenne west on Interstate 80. From Cheyenne east to Sidney, Ne., there is patchy snow on Interstate 80, and visibility is being affected by blowing snow. There is also a chance for slick spots on the Interstate.
There continues to be an 80 percent chance of 1-3 inches of snow, and temperatures during the day on Wednesday will be in the mid 20s, with night time lows in the single digits.
