Wrestlers finish tenth at Charlie Lake Memorial

The Burns/Pine Bluffs wrestling season is off to a slow start after placing 10th at the Charlie Lake Memorial tournament at Cheyenne East on December 11-12.

In Pool A – Round One, the team fell 59-18 to Gering, followed by a Round Two 54-24 loss to Cheyenne South. In Round Three, Burns lost 77-0 to Poudre and in Round Five, Douglas beat Burns 46-30.

In the Placement Matches, Niwot and Burns faced off to see who would take 9th Place. Niwot came away with a 40-27 win to send Burns home with a 10th place finish.
