Three solid quarters of scoring was what it took for the Burns Broncs to gallop past the Saratoga Panthers, at home, Friday, 58-40.
Burns started sluggish in the first quarter and then seemed to come alive for the rest of the game. Scoring an anemic six points in the first could have been their undoing but their defense stayed strong and held Saratoga to only eight.
The second quarter saw the Broncs speed away from Saratoga as they tallied 17 points while holding Saratoga to eight. As the half-time buzzer sounded, Burns was in control with a 23-16 lead.
