Lady Hornets hold on to beat Kimball, roll past Burns, Lusk

A second half rally by the Kimball Longhorns was almost the undoing of the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets, at home Tuesday. The Lady Hornets were able to hang on to win 49-46.

"We played a solid first half but gave up 35 in the second half," said coach Lindsey Forbes.

"We made defensive mistakes, turned the ball over and gave them lots of chances," Forbes said.

The Lady Hornets hit the court with solid first half play as they outscored the Lady Longhorns 29-11.

After the break it was the Longhorns with the momentum as they shut down the home team outscoring them 21-12 to narrow the gap.
