Revenue and spending look to be up for the town of Burns.
Burns town councilors passed the 2016-2017 budget during their monthly meeting April 11.
The town anticipates receiving about $344,000 in revenue for the fiscal year, up from $333,000 from last year.
Supplemental revenue, funds from the sixth penny sales tax and state supplemental funding, is anticipated to increase from $40,000 to $44,850. Spending will subsequently increase in line with the increased revenue.
