Members of the Burns Utility Board discussed and approved an update to a sewer line Monday.
The project will cost the town $210,000.
AVI Engineer Scott Cowley told the board that there are two options: boring underground or digging a trench which would later be filled in.
The board ultimately decided to go with the trench as boring work would be too costly and still cause damage. The project will cost about $210,000.
Even if the town chose to bore under the street, there would still be extensive damage to the street from the installation of manholes, Cowley said.
