Garcia takes the tape at 5K

It’s almost a sure thing if you run in the same 5K race as Jorge Garcia, the best anyone else to hope for is second place. This was the case this past Saturday at the 15th Annual 5K/1Mile Longhorn Stampede Fun Run/Walk. This year, there were 34 registered participants, but not all of them were local. Some came from as far away as Texas. The age range varied as well, with the youngest participant being 14-years-old and the oldest being 74.
