Voters decide commission race plus statewide opponents

Voters in Laramie County, as well as all other counties in Wyoming, took to the polls Tuesday in the primary election to determine several local races and narrow down statewide opponents who will face-off in the general election in November.

At home in Laramie County, four candidates campaigned for two available spots of the county commission.

Incumbents Buck Holmes, who serves as Board of Commissioners Chairman, and Amber Ash faced challengers M. Lee Hasenauer and Kevin Tighe. Ash was appointed to her current tern on the board, so this is the first time she is running on the ballot.
