Kevin James Burns

Kevin James Burns, 54 formerly of Cheyenne dies June 12 after a heroic battle with glioblastoma. He was born Feb. 18, 1962, in Newton N.J., the son of Edward and Catherine (Balaconis) Burns.

Kevin married Sharon (Adair) Nov. 14, 1981 after joining the Franklin Township Somerset N.J. Police Department in September 1981, where he served proudly for 25 years. Kevin formerly was the caretaker for the Laramie County Fairgrounds and the opening manager for the Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex. Kevin is survived by his loving wife Sharon; and two adoring giant Schnauzers, Camo and Delta. He will be sorely missed by all who crossed paths with his. Private memorial services have taken place.
