Governor appoints new Circuit Court Judge for Campbell County

Governor Matt Mead has selected Paul Phillips as Circuit Court Judge for the Sixth Judicial District in Campbell County. Phillips fills the vacancy created by Judge Terrill Tharp’s retirement effective January 1, 2017.

Phillips has engaged in the private practice of law in Gillette for over 10 years. Prior to that, he served as a law clerk for the District Court Judges of the 6th Judicial District.
