This delightful Christmas tree welcomes guests at the 32nd annual Christmas in the Country bazaar located just outside of Hillsdale. Betty Kesslar turns her house into a North Pole wonderland for 11 days in November, offering homemade and unique gift items including bath salts, towels, pillow cases, greeting cards, doilies, small children's clothing, wooden toys and antiques. The event draws hundreds of shoppers from Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska during the weekends and for some, marks the first start of the holiday shopping. Several families have attended for years, making it a tradition to bring in generations to take in the Christmas spirit.
