Saying thank you for service and sacrifice

Albin Elementary student Stuart Lerwick, right, presents a local Albin veteran with a flag during the Albin Elementary School Veterans Day program last Thursday. Local veterans were recognized by name and dates of service. While students gave out flags, a slideshow was shown during the program, highlighting relatives of Albin students and staff who served in the United States Armed Forces. The program was under the direction of Albin music teacher Sharon Duffey.
