Town takes steps to replace storm-damaged trees

Mitch Reisdorfer, of Cheyenne Lawn and Tree Care, cutting off the limbs of one of the trees in Pine Bluffs City Park before cutting down the trunk. Of the 37 trees in the park 35 are set for removal. The two remaining are the shorter pines on the east side of the park. The work will take from one to two weeks. Following this, 30 new trees, a mix of maple and cottonwood, each about 14 feet high, will be planted.
