Actor Duffy Hudson also visited Carpenter Elementary last week to perform "The Big Brag," from Dr. Seuss in front of a student assembly.

Saw a man in a hat with stripes red and white
Tell Dr. Seuss stories, what a delight!
They laughed, they giggled, they shouted with glee
They heard of the "Sneetches." What fun, yippee!
He told of "The Zax" and about "The Big Brag"
He kept their attention, he wasn't a drag
Two other stories he told them that day
Then he was finished and went home to L.A.
