Shoppers hit the streets for bargains across town

If only the take at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center were given consideration, then the Pine Bluffs Community Garage Sale was a rousing success.

"This is our fourth year participating in the sale. We made double this year from what we did last year," said Alisha Michaud, Executive Director of the center.

In fact, the center pulled in $2,400 in the Saturday event. The money comes in handy given that the center's grant funding has been cut by $5,000. Michaud intends to use the funds to upgrade their PA system for when they have events like the monthly dances. She will also use some of the money to...
