Howard Wayne Jessop

A lifelong resident of Pine Bluffs Wyoming, Howard Wayne Jessop, age 79, passed away June 24, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Harold and Olga Jessop on the family farm June 20, 1958.

Farming was in Howard's blood, he put his heart and soul into the cultivation and lifelong care of the family farm. From dusk to dawn he would tend the daily rigors of a successful wheat farming operation with a joyful heart. He loved farming and would always say, "If you loved what you did for a living, you would never have to work another day in your life."

He loved his family and passed along the values of hard work, perseverance and devotion to God. Never spoiling them but rather teaching them to be self-sufficient and dependent only on God.

Howard loved people he was quick to make friends and had many in his local community as well as their winter residence in Arizona. He could strike up a conversation with just about anyone and did his best to put those around him at ease with a joke and smile.

Howard is survived by his wife Elaine Jessop, son Randy Jessop and wife Nancy, daughters Carmen Roth and husband Mark, Beth Klinginsmith and husband Dave, Joyce Boothe and husband Ricky; 9 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Howard Jessop left a legacy of trusting in God, loving on his family and friends, and farming. He will truly be missed.
